Goulburn Adults

Goulburn Uniting Church provides many opportunities for adults to gather together both socially and for faith development.

These groups include the following groups who meet in the Wesley Centre, 49 Goldsmith St, Goulburn, NSW:

A.R.C. (Adult Recreative Centre)
A.R.C. offers a diversity of recreation activities for adults on Mondays from 9.30-12 noon (during school terms) at the Wesley Centre. Whilst the main membership consists of retired women, men and women of all ages are welcome. Regular activities include stitching projects and social  board games (Rummykub is a favorite).

Old Codgers Group
Old Codgers provides the opportunity for men to enjoy a shared lunch, listen to guest speaks and partake in interesting activities. It is held at the Wesley Centre from 11.30am -1.30pm on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of each month.

Painting @ Uniting
Painting @ Uniting is an informal art group who gather together in the Wesley Centre 10am until 3pm on Thursdays. Whilst many of the members paint each week some members also like to bring their sewing or knitting to Painting @ Uniting sessions.

Wrap with Love
Wrap with love is a charity rug knitting project that is supported by people across Australia.  Locally, people work on these wraps in a social setting in the Wesley Centre from 10am-12 noon on the 4th Thursday of the Month (except December). Members knit, or croquet squares, edge squares, or piece squares into rugs to be given to people in need around the world. All wool is provided, and can be collected at meetings (along with a pattern) for people who would like to knit for this worthwhile project from home. Adult Bible Study Group
Meeting in the Wesley Centre from 1.30-2.30pm Tuesdays during school term.

Afternoon Fellowship
Afternoon Fellowship is a group meeting at 2pm on the 2nd Thursday of the Month at the Wesley Centre. This group consists of predominantly retired women who are members of a number of churches in Goulburn, but is open to any adult; man or women, or church or non-church background. Each month members are treated to a guest speaker and are able to share together over tea and coffee.
