What is a Labyrinth?
A Labyrinth is a large pattern on the ground that looks similar to a maze, though it has only one path in and one out (so there are no chances of getting lost).
Labyrinths can be made out of many different materials, they can be circular or square and may or may not have places to sit and engage with guided reflections (stations) along the way.
Some people like to slowly and quietly walk a labyrinth, others to run it! Some prefer to enter the labyrinth with a particular question or thought to ponder on and others prefer to wander through thinking on any thoughts that happen to arise on the journey. No matter which way you walk it Labyrinths help to foster mindfulness, relaxation and refreshment.
