HOLIDAY CLUB
What an amazing time we had for the 4 days of Holiday Kids Club at the Church in January! We played games, sang songs, did crafts, and generally ran around having a great time. There was also a daily puppet show and a devotional story, all around the theme “Treasure in heaven”. Our thanks to all the helpers who came along to make this happen – see the photo of the helpers (and add Margaret Thompson, who was working on the Friday when we took the photo). Well done, Goulburn Uniting, we have taken a significant step forward!

CHRISTMAS DAY LUNCH
What a Gift of a Day!

Our Goulburn Uniting Christmas Lunch was a beautiful expression of compassion, generosity, and community. Together, we shared food, conversation, laughter, and dignity with those in our city who are feeling lonely or doing it tough this Christmas.

We give heartfelt thanks to the local churches, community groups, businesses, and individuals whose generous donations of food, gifts, time, and resources made the day possible. This was truly a shared effort, and it showed.
A special thank you to Councillor Daniel Strickland, who didn’t just drop by but rolled up his sleeves — serving lunch, washing dishes, and helping with the pack-up. Your presence and practical support meant a great deal.
AND there was a Christmas Tree with gifts so that everyone could take something home with them!

Occasions like this remind us of the power of community
when we choose kindness, hospitality, and care.
